The Warbler and The Townsendia

The Wilson’s Warbler is common in Colorado during migration and in alpine habitats during summer, where it meets the tiny Townsendia Parryi, a true jewel of the high mountains. I met both in the Botanical Gardens in Denver, CO, and fell in love with the minuscule details of perfection. Sharpen the eyes, I would say, and ask to be revealed that, what is smaller or bigger than yourself, in order to really know your real scale.

This art print is created using the giclee technique and is part of a limited series of 10 pieces, each numbered, hand-signed, and dated for the winter holiday of 2025-2026. All prints are A4 size and reproduce original artwork made with watercolor and  graphite pencil. Reproductions are not permitted.
